Research: A Good Music Video Example

This is my example of a good music video Band of Horses- The Funeral.

There are many factors as to why I chose this mv as my example eg. the special affects used during the editing stage to make it look old fashioned and the sloppy transitions used where some would mistake as an editing error however they used it to add more impact to their video. The camera follows the main character around allowing the audience to recognise he is the main character. Amplification is used where more meaning is added to the lyrics through the video. The Mise en scene is good with a variety of good locations.
