Jessie J-Who You Are

Due to our music video needing to be quit low budget i then decided Jessie j-who you are will be a great choice, this song shows jessie j staring directly into the camera while sitting on a chair in what seems like a bedroom this is very basic, therefore we could be abit more creative and outgoing, also i personally lvoe the song and understand the lyrics, by me doing so i have hundreds of ideas that will fit in with the lyrics . This song is about loving yourself and accepting yourself and there so much that can be done with that, if we were to pick this video it would be a illustrative.

I stare at my reflection in the mirror - This could of been quit basic, a high angle shot of a girl crying and smeared make up in this we would have to purchase red lipstick, red is usually associated with love so this could stand as a symbol and have a double meaning the song is generally about loving your self so the use of red lipstick could re-in force that, red is a bold colour which represents confidence and for it to be smeared could signalise a smeared confidence. Why am I doing this to myself? -Jump cut to her staring at her self in the mirror in disgusttLosing my mind on a tiny error - a low angle shot showing her on the floor rocking herself, signalising madness,I nearly left the real me on the shelf- A split screen of her currently, and a picture on a shelf of her happy and youngNo, no, no, no, no- Her throwing the picture across the room, this will be done with slow motion to create more of an effect.
Don't lose it all in the blur of the stars - This would be shot in the night, a over shoulder of her looking up to the sky and a jump cut to a extreme close up of her eyesSeeing is deceiving, dreaming is believing It's okay not to be okaySometimes it's hard to follow your heart - her sitting down drawing arrows on a heart signalising love and hurt
Tears don't mean you're losingEvery body's bruisingJust be true to who you are
Who you are, who you are, who you areWho you are, who you are, who you areWho you are, who you are, who you are
Brushing my hair, do I look perfect?I forgot what to do to fit the mold, yeahThe more I try the less it's working, yeah, yeah, yeah'Cause everything inside me screamsNo, no, no, no, no
Don't lose it all in the blur of the starsSeeing is deceiving, dreaming is believingIt's okay not to be okaySometimes it's hard to follow your heart
But tears don't mean you're losingEverybody's bruisingThere's nothing wrong with who you are
Yes, no's, egos, fake shows like boomJust go and leave me aloneReal talk, real life, good luck, good nightWith a smile, that's my home, that's my home, noNo, no, no, no, no
Don't lose it all in the blur of the starsSeeing is deceiving, dreaming is believingIt's okay not to be okaySometimes it's hard to follow your heart
Tears don't mean you're losingEverybody's bruisingJust be true to who you areYeah, yeah, yeah
Another potential song could be

Natasha Bedingfield - These Words

When looking at the video and hearing the song separately, i realised that the lyrics and music video had very few similarity's i would call this video a disjunctive videowhen picking video i closely examine the speed in which she is talking and any possible high notes, i thought this song was suitable because she is is singing in a sing-talk manor which will be beneficial when we are editing our videos also the video is very basic and can easy be re-made or improved, there are loads of places were this video can be remade, i was thinking of using tourist attraction, and using jump cuts, split screen and a range of camera angles it could start of in a house, then jump cut to a park then to London Eye,
