One of my friends Awoat's style is very vintage and i would say the correct style we are trying to achieve for our music video and our genre. It's the little details in the outfit that complete it for example the little clock neckless. I would say this is probably how our target audience dress , they have a different sense of style and are into fashion .
Indie pop videos don't follow the normal conventions of the male gaze , therefor the clothes have to be to a certain extent not to 'showy' but still chic , retro and have a vintage feel to it. As you can see above Awoat's buttons are all done up but it still looks really interesting . The watch neckless is very striking because you don't normally see it around peoples neck .
