Filming:Blitz

In this blog I will be speaking about how our filming went in our first location blitz and the positive and negatives
Generally filming in blitz was a pleasant, the employees was very nice and helpful on many occasions they offered to block of section for us to film in however we said no because we did not want to affect their business and their employees. We never realised just how big blitz was, pictures really does not do blitz justice. There have a variety of objects and places inside. They even have a little cafe which serves refreshments, they have various of home garments, clothes suitable to a wide variety of people from emo's to hippies to vintage lovers. On many occasions I came across many things that we could include in our music video to make it better. I came across woods craving the alphabet leters, I then realised we could use for the "do do do dah do" part of the song so I arranged the letters and we filming vanessa next to them.
Positives include:
  • Variety of shots, and objects
  • Variety of camera movement
  • Co-operativeness with the employees and our group
Negative include:
  • Restriction on filming in certain areas in the shop
  • Increase of customers (The shops policy not to include any costumers when getting changed)
  • Being more creative in a restricted area.
  • VERY hard to locate
Through the filming each member of our group came us with many and useful idea's . Vanessa came up with wonderful ideas such as the use of the mannequins. Sumi and nasharla hand picked the clothes vanessa changed into which were very nice and stylish and re-inforced our character personality. Generally filming at blitz was a pleasant and enjoyable experiencee
