The screen grab above clearly show's that there is no "Official video" for 'Merry Happy' , this song was chosen intentionally for that reason. We didn't want to chose a song with a video because we often found ourselves unable to shake it's visual content away. For example , we were planning to chose the song 'Foundations' by Kate Nash but when coming up with possible ideas we came to the conclusion that original ideas were running low because everytime we thought of the song we thought of the video used. In addition, the song itself won't allow us creatively to explore other options for mise en scene as the video uses illustration , it would be limiting.There by choosing 'Merry Happy' with no video we're starting from scratch , this enables us to be as creative as we want to be.
Therfor our music video for this song won't be able to differ in anyway because there's no original video for it to be different to.
