Research : The Female lead

One obstacle i found quiet early on in the process was finding a leading lady to be in the music video , i asked members in the group if they wanted to be in it but they said no , and so did i .

Finding a willing person is crucial because if a person who doesn't want to be in the video is pushed into doing it , the video will feel the impact of that decision. You'll be able to notice someone who isn't comfortable with performing on screen very easily. There are risks with using someone who isn't in the same course and also doesn't go to the same college as you....

• It might not mean a lot to them so they won't turn up
• They might not put as much effort in the filming process
• Might bail out last minute as they're busy 

When speaking to my friend on twitter i asked for her number  ( so i can contact her and vis versa )and made sure she knew exactly what she was letting herself in for so that there isn't any surprises . I told her possible locations we might film and that we haven't decided when we're filming but that we'll discuss things with her and find out when she is free.

Hopefully now that finding our leading lady is completed i can focus on the rest of the planning, knowing that there's someone who is willing to act out my groups creation and ideas in the  music video.
