So we've finally came to our final decision to choose kate nash-merry happy.
I decided to do some research about the hidden meaning in merry happy and this is what I found "she's looking back on a very long and serious relationship. all the good memories and the bad. as they were hitting a rough road, she wanted to work it out because she loved him so much but he gave up. she's realizing that, although she loved him and he didn't feel the same way in the end, she's learning that she can move on too, just like him. she realises that there are loads of other things to look forward to and enjoy in life" and I commend kate nash on this highly usually in her circumstance a ordinary reaction will be to be sad and frustrated however she rejected that label and decided that this was just a life lesson and instead of disliking it , she should just embrace it and most importantly learn from it.
I was thinking what do I really know about kate nash, I then took that opportunity to find out more about the artist that we have chosen to use, I researched her background,when she started and her reason for starting.

Who is kate nash?
Kate nash full name is actually kate 'mary' nash and she was born on the 6th of july 1987 and if my maths is correct she is 25 years old and 13 weeks. She was born in harrow london. She is branded as a singer,songwriter and a musician which is quit amazing, this reinforces why we decided to choose her song as our music video, she is a hard-working and dedicated women
She dabbles in indie pop and indie rock so she is quit limited but diverse in her own way
Her hit song was "foundation" which received an outstanding reaction from the public, she earned a spot at UK number 2 in 2007 also she was named best female artist at 2008 brit away (well done to her)
She is currently signed to The Island Def Jam Motown Ireland Group. Nash grew up with her mother and father in what society would call a nuclear family, her mother marie was a nurse who specialised in hospice . She went to a catholic school and learn how to play a guitar in secondary school.
Kate nash started off her career in 2005, 7 years ago. In this she used to perform local gigs , after several gigs she decided to upload her music to myspace this was when myspace was the leading social website, she then found her self a manager and producers for her music
Her first ever debut was a single which was called " Carolina A Victim'bird" this was produced and recorded in island by Valgeir Sigurðsson and was released through moshi moshi record.
Sadly in 2008 she was diagnosed with what was described as "proper breakdown" including mild obsessive-compulsive disorder. She has thought against the idea of a size zero artist stating in daily telegraph that she is herself is a curvy size 12.
Nash has been very helpful to society and seems like a genuine nice person she helped a young girl that unfortunately lost her hands to mild obsessive-compulsive disorder. She used an auction on ebay to help donate money to this young girl parents to buy prosthetic hands.
