Ancillary research : Function of digipaks

Today my class was introduced to digipaks and what there function to  the music industry is.  In a world where CD sales are low , a digipack could be the difference between someone buying an album  or illegally downloading it. The visual content and extra features are appealing to fans which makes it more special then just having the song.

Here is some notes i took while Dan was  showing us a prezi on digipaks. When on itunes the graphics of a cd cover could be what draws your attention to an artist and their music.
