While looking thoroughly at the lyrics i started bursting with ideas on possible storylines for the music video , these are the ones that i liked most.
Boyfriend not happy in relationship , always tries his best but get's nowhere as girlfriend is very picky . Girlfriend is oblivious to how he feels and is very happy with how things are. (I can imagine this being at times a very comical video with a lot of personality and quirkyness)

As a group though we haven't decided on which path we're going to go down , it all depends if we can find a male lead.
When we got the task to plan our locations for the music video my group got to thinking about locations ,of course, but also what the storyline for our video could include. I then came home and started thinking about the tone and elements found in Indie pop but mainly in Kate Nash videos. The tone of a music video is just as important, if as a group we think about the small details i believe it will benefit us greatly .
I think including these tones and element but doing it in our own way will give the music video a bit of Indie pop flavour . This Research will help us a lot when it comes done to planning .
This is where we have chosen as one of our locations that we will be filming at, This place is called Alexandra park ice rink, in which has a perfect view of a sunset , as you can see the building is quit high this will be a perfect spot so film a sunset and that is were we will be filming a section of the song,

This is the view in which will be seen, this shot will be taken at sunset approximately 6-7, we came to a group conclusion that this will be the most suitable place to film this scene.
As part of our possible locations to use in our music video of Kate Nash- Merry Happy, we would want to film in a cafe in London, as it would fit in with the feel of the song and its lyrics.
As part of our research and planning into the location of possible cafes, we came came up with the Hummingbird Bakery, a popular bakery specialising in American styled cakes. The interior of this bakery, would fit with the song and the colour featured in this location are the type we would want to use in our indie pop video.
The exact location of this bakery branch, is in South Kensington, which has various travel points from Central London. The advantage of filming on this location is that we have the ability to film both inside
and outside of the bakery, and still have the advantage to have some great shots on location.

Vernalis observed that edits in music videos are much more frequent that are used in films, many stand out as disjuncture and that the editing seems to have rhythmic basis closelyconnected to the song. When creating my As thriller i learnt a wide variety of new technical skills these included
Introduction to blogger, which taught us how to blog our ideas and research
Our lesson dedicated to teaching us about using film equipment safely, this included us being taught how to use the camera's safely and to always use tripod when necessary.
Our organising, research, and planning which we used search engines to assist us on these following things, these included google to collect information and you tube to find theme songs of famous thrillers in which we could incorporate in ours.
Creating and adding Foley sounds, this was very beneficial because it taught us how to use foley sounds when needed
Work independently and collectively, it taught me how to work with he greater team and be supportive with each other and listen to other ideas and respect their opinions. Also it taught me how to work independently(Blogging).
Learning how to use soundtrack also final cut this was the main elements in the creation of our thriller, soundtrack is were we created our theme sounds also any sound effects needed.
Editing
Editing was one of the main elements in our thriller, after filming and being satisfied with our product we then began our editing this is were we, added filters, and credits also this is were we structured our thriller and sorted the scenes that we filmed in order.
Goodwin says that the traditional narrative analyses does not apply to pop videos, there is many reasons for this , they approach narrative from a different angle to novels and films this is because pop videos are usually built around songs and often do not pose traditional narrative structure. Also the pop video uses the singer both as narrator and as a character.
Pop video rely on repetition a lot of it is repeated that is why depending on genres we expect certain elements to be in a Pop video. Also images are usually repeated according to certain lines or chorus’s .Lastly video will be shown on TV. The song on radio and sometimes on tv/film adverts therefore through repetition the song will become familiar.
Visualisation can sometimes go beyond the original meaning sometimes the video provides a visual pleasure that encourages repeated viewing which promotes the music also it could be supporting and promoting films such as Celine Dion- my heart will go on.

In some videos the different instruments in the music are represented by different objects an example is rock the casbah by the clash. Also videos try and appeal to as wide an audience as possible without disregarding the main target audience.
Lastly videos that are from songs written for particular movies often incorporates images from that movie in the video such as I'm Kissing You (Love Theme from "Romeo And Juliet")
An example of Illustration is Rkelly and Usher same girl this is a RnB song, R. Kelly and Usher talk about a girl they love who turns out to be the same person. In the video, during the first verse, Kels is seen in Chicago calling Usher at his home in Atlanta, telling him about a woman that he is in love with, sparing no details. Usher, taken aback by the similarities to the girl he is presently dating, inquires further about Kels' new love interest and comes to the conclusion that she is, in fact, the "same girl" as Kelly' partner. Kelly, in an attempt to resolve the situation working together with Ush, flies out to meet up with Usher in the chorus. As the second verse begins, Ush picks up Kels at the airport in an Aston Martin Vanquish and the two discuss the way they each met this girl in their respective home towns. Eventually, as the two play basketball together, they concoct a scheme to call this girl out on her lies, and show up at dinner with her together, thus shocking and embarrassing her by directly confronting her with her own duplicity. However, at the end of the video, as their plan is carried out, it is in fact Ush and Kels who are shocked, as the tables are turned and it is revealed that they were not, in fact, dating the same girl as they had come to believe, because the girl just happened to have an identical twin with an identical car, license plate, ankle tattoo and beauty mark, However in the end of the video they stare at each other dumbfounded as they realized the girl they thought they were both dating were actually twins.
An example of amplification is Ray J - One Wish which is Rnb in this video he is taking about if he had one wish, he would amend his relationship with his ex-girlfriend through this video some scenes are shown of the girl he is referring however the video does not highly depend on the lyrics also it also does not contradict with the lyrics.
An example of disjuncture is Fugees Ft Lauryn Hill Killing Me Softly this is a RnB song, in this video it is based in a cinema and the song is aboutlauryn hill telling us about her love experience and how he is killing her softly this has no relation or connection with them in the cinema watching a movie.
